ETMIET Research Project: Discourse of the Image

The aim of this project is to examine, in the broadest possible sense and within a comparative framework,
issues concerning visual/illustrative aspects of printed media, as well as an investigation of the potential
intellectual property rights that they entail.

Our project draws on the themes explored at the
8th International Conference of the European Society for Periodical Research,
Athens, –,
on The Periodical Press and Visual Culture.

Our research relies on the use of AI.
