“Unknown documents that provide another dimension to the events that led to the dictatorship and those that followed 21st April 1967.

From the post-liberation period to 1981, Savvas Konstantopoulos was the top journalist in the conservative party. Political advisor to leaders of this camp, his writing influenced people and situations and shaped developments in some dramatic chapters of our modern history.

He was described as the “theoretician of the dictatorship” and was criticized strongly by political opponents because he supported this regime with his newspaper, Eleftheros Kosmos (Free World). But, throughout this period, there was an “unseen aspect” which may oblige us to reconsider many of our assessments of the past. This “unseen aspect” emerges from the documents of his personal archive that has now been made public for the first time".
